im personally suggest that the tourists should take the trishaw. It's because it's the 1 of the symbols of Malacca and by riding it,tourists can have a better time to capture the view on the way to destination.

(c) Objective :
To get know about Hang Li Poh's Well, which is one of the famous heritage and cultural sites in Malaysia and also to let people around the world, not only Malaysian, about the history of Hang Li Poh Well.

Theme :
We actually don't have specific theme.

Concept:
Our concept is simple and historical.The main porpose is want to bring out all the related info of hang li poh well to the people to gain interest from them when visit it.

(e) Milestone :

All the information of the content are ready. We already decide the fonts and scripts.Now only left the final discussion about the background and any changes of the scripts and put in information about Hang Li poh's Well.

(f) Group Meeting:
We are having our group meeting once for two weeks by using msn and yahoo messenger to discuss the concept, separation of tasks, responsibilities of each member, discussion and sharing opinions of the usage of software for the related assignment.

Hey there,

Our first assignment is given a task by creating a wallpaper by using adobe photoshop with title-FOM Open Day.

This is the final work of my wallpaper:

(a) we have to set up and choosing the right paper that we gonna use-international paper,CMYK etc.

(b)we have to dowload the suitable images according the images' pixels/types that stated-jpeg,jpg,gif etc.

(c)choose file-open- my picture(picture that i have downloaded).Then,paint the white paper into black by using 'Paint Bucket Tool(G).

(d)remove the unwanted sides using 'Eraser tool'.

(i) Before (ii) After

(e) Using 'move tool' to move the 'head' to the black n blank paper and adjusting the size of the 'head' by using 'ctrl T' and press 'shift' when adjusting its' size.

(f) Choose the 'deco' that i want to put in the 'head' and cut the 'deco' by using 'quick selection tool' and 'magic wand tool'. Afterthat,using the 'move tool' to move the 'deco' into the wallpaper and adjusting its size and angle. Do the same things by continue move n paste the 'deco' by 6 times into the wallpaper.

(g) Add in the images that related to the themes or titles (pig,chart,earth,money and people). All of it using the same steps by cut it using 'quick selection tool' and move it into the wallpaper.

Except the 'people' that need to add on effects such as drop shadow,bevel and emboss,gradient overlay and stroke.

(p/s: Before move the objects into the 'wallpaper',used the 'filter- filter gallery' to change the style,color n appearance of the object,such as the 'people' )

(h) Add on the MMU address and logo.

(i) Using the 'horizontal type tool' to create the word-'Faculty Of Management' and add-in several effects such as bevel and emboss and gradient overlay.

(j) Using 'horizontal type tool' to create the details of 'date,time and venue' and 'OPEN DAY'. The 'OPEN DAY' used effects like outer glow,bevel and emboss,gradient overlay,stroke. The 'date,time and venue' used effects of inner glow.
(p/s: all the effects can be found n used in -layer-layer style-blending options)

The above shows all the steps that i used to create this wallpaper.

The History

Hi there!

Here are some updates about our findings about Hang Li Po Well.

Hang Li Po's Well also know as King's Well , located at the foot of Bukit Cina, next to Sam Po Kong Temple, was built in 1459 by the followers of Princess Hang Li Po as the main source of water supply in the town.

Princess Hang Li Poh was married to the reigning Sultan Mansor Shah in mid-15th century for the diplomatic ties between China and Malacca. The well was then built under the royal command of Sultan Mansur Shah for Princess Hang Li Poh at the foot of Bukit Cina - a Chinese settlement given by the Sultan to the Princess as a gift.

It was said that after Melaka was conquered by the Portuguese, the Javanese poisoned the water in the well and many Portuguese soldiers died after drinking water out of the well. In 1677, during the Dutch rule, the Dutch enclosed the well within stout walls to maintain their rights to the well.

Today it is turned into a wishing well. It is believed that whoever throws coins into the well or drink its water will return to Melaka time and again.

These are the types of visitor or target audience that we are expect:
(i) Students which are at the age of 7 to 18 years old, who want to gain more knowledge which relate to their school projects about cultural site so they will need much details from this website.


(ii) Male and female groups, aged of 18 to 60. Beyond these group, it can divided into several sub groups with different interest and wants,such as the younger group and older group.


(iii) For the older group, we will expect the they can get more information, recall the memories about the cultural site which they heard n known from this site.


(iv) For the younger group, we will expect that they can have more knowledge about the historical place in Malaysia. Besides, they may be found out the information that they need such as adventure, interest activities and transportation from this site to increase their interest to go pay a visit in the form of groups- friends, trip or family.


(v) Foreign visitors and photographer are also expected to visit Hang Li Poh Well. By viewing our site,they can get the information of nearby accommodation, nearby cultural site, site information and others.


Based on the information about the target audience who will be reading our website, we will be able to provide them the information needed about Hang Li Poh Well.
